Voices of Hope, Inc. was established in 2013 to be a vehicle for people in recovery and families affected by behavioral health disorders can use to make real change in our community.
Current programs include:
- ID services to help those lacking identification get that basic requirement to access treatment and services.
- Access to funding sources for Cecil County residents to enter Cecil County recovery housing when all other funding streams are inaccessible. This is through a partnership with the Turning Point Project, an organization funded in part by ACR in Harford County. We also raise funds to support those who do not qualify for that program.
- Financial Capabilities class – we offer a free 4-part workshop series quarterly about how to manage money, save, prioritize and look at money differently in recovery.
- Training Track for Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialists and Supervision with assistance to earn the State credential through the Maryland Addiction and Behavioral-health Professional Certification Board.
